Unprocessed @ Rams Head Live // 08.03.22
Unprocessed – a progressive metal band from Hessen, Germany – embarked on their first U.S. tour opening for Polyphia, kicking off a hot and humid night with the high-energy crowd at Rams Head Live in Baltimore, Maryland.
Following the much-anticipated announcement of their recent album release — Gold — Unprocessed wasted no time warming up fans by launching directly into a crowd-pleasing set, teasing some of their newest songs throughout the night. With their distinct sound of smooth melodies and complex technical rhythms, they quickly caught the attention of concert-goers and had everyone throwing up hands in no time. Even as song after song continued to rile up the crowd, a memorable moment of calmness occurred when drummer Leon Pfeifer held up his phone, silently requesting everyone to follow suit. As more and more fans turned on their lights, the unique outdoor venue became a stunning sea of glittering “stars” against the Baltimore sunset.
The skillful combination of heavy hitting drums, hair flipping guitar techniques, and effortless vocals definitely set the right tone for the night — and judging by the roar of cheers and applause as they departed the stage, Unprocessed has certainly made a lasting impression on the head-banging, mosh-loving east coast crowd.
