Hot off of his well-received Governors Ball performance, talented singer-songwriter d4vd brought his highly anticipated This House Is Not A Home Tour to the 930 Club, playing for a completely sold-out crowd that filled all levels of the iconic D.C. venue.
With an incredible amount of charm and energy throughout the night, d4vd performed a robust set list that included tracks like “Take Me to the Sun,” “Sleep Well,” “Rehab,” and “WORTHLESS.” Many times throughout his performance he connected with his fans - reading fan signs, autographing memorabilia, and even bringing a few lucky people on stage to perform a few songs with him. Fueled by the hype and enthusiasm of the crowd, he made a mini-stage dive into the audience; although fans struggled to catch him, d4vd still amusingly expressed his gratitude, “No one caught me! I still love y’alls energy though!”
In the latter half of his set the opening cords of “Here With Me” began, and d4vd introduced the Tik Tok viral hit by explaining that it was a song he created on a phone in his little sister’s closet. The crowd went wild knowing the track he was referring to, and immediately joined in to sing the entire song along with him. He closed out the night with his original viral song, “Romantic Homicide,” to which fans also knew the lyrics by heart.
Due to his boundless energy, powerful vocals, and an overall dynamic performance, d4vd captivated his audience from start to finish. As his incredible musical journey continues to evolve, he is definitely an artist to keep on your radar, and his performances are certainly not to be missed!
