ONE OK ROCK @ KIA FORUM // 10.23.2024
Popular Japanese band ONE OK ROCK delivered an unforgettable performance at Los Angeles' legendary Kia Forum for the last stop of their 2024 PREMONITION WORLD TOUR. This show marked an exciting milestone for the group, as it was their first time headlining an arena show in the U.S. The whirlwind stadium tour has previously stopped in cities such as Tokyo, Kaohsiung, Düsseldorf, Paris, London, and Toronto, with plans to continue in spring 2025, performing in Mexico and across South America.
Despite the large venue, the show felt just as intimate as their previous U.S. tours held in smaller capacities. It was nostalgic and exhilarating to hear iconic tracks like “Deeper Deeper” and “Mighty Long Fall” performed on a larger stage, featuring the same high-level production as their renowned Japanese shows. ONE OK ROCK further delighted fans with popular songs from their extensive discography, including “Taking Off,” “Wherever You Are,” “Wonder,” “The Beginning,” “Stand Out Fit In,” and “Wasted Nights.”
During the encore, the band teased their new music video for “Dystopia,” along with an unreleased track which at the time they called “Matter.” While ONE OK ROCK’s recent songs “Dystopia” and “Delusion:All” convey poignant messages about the state of the world and the relationship between humans and technology, their latest release, "+Matter," serves as an inspiring anthem reminding listeners that everyone matters and that no one is ever alone.
After such an invigorating show, fans are eager for more announcements regarding their upcoming album, Detox, scheduled for release in February 2025, and the possibility of another full-length world tour in 2025.
